AV Connections, Inc. provided AV for the groundbreaking ceremony this past week in beautiful Loudoun County, VA. Panda Power, a corporation whose mission is to provide new, clean power to homes and businesses, welcomed guests and policy makers to the groundbreaking ceremony and luncheon held on the site of the future power plant in Leesburg, Va.

A combination of efforts between Bechtel and and Seimans of Dallas, Texas, the new power plant will create energy for 750,000 homes and businesses in Virginia. On hand for the groundbreaking was State of Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring, U.S. Representative Barbara Comstock, R-Va. (above), and Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott York.

For the groundbreaking ceremony AV and lighting AV Connections, Inc. provided audio and lighting for both sides of the tent for both the presentation and the luncheon, which included JBL speakers, Shure microphone Source-4 lights and Par 38 lights.

Hard to believe another year flew by and we are back at Raleigh Convention Center providing Raleigh NC AV rentals for the Wake Tachnical College's graduations again. We look forward to this enthusiastic and exciting event each and we've become as attached to watching each class move to the college exits as their professors. College graduation is such an important event, we want to make it perfect for each graduate. This is the last opportunity they will have to listen as a class. And the last time they will be addressed by their administrators, teachers, and classmates. No matter how many graduations and commencements have passed at which we provided commencement audio visual, they are never less moving or powerful. We're deeply aware our future sits in these chairs.

Another great show week for us doing High Point AV for the High Point Furniture Market spring shows. This is the largest home trade show in the United States which North Carolina is please to host twice yearly in the furniture design capital of the United States.
